THE
SOCIETY OF CERTIFIED INVESTMENT BANKERS |
|
The
Society of Certified Investment Bankers (SCIB), an affiliate of the
ICFAI University was established in 1999 with the objective of
developing a new cadre of investment banking professionals through a
world-class certification program
and rigorous membership standards.
The
entry of global investment banks into India has brought about the
much needed professionalization in the crucial investment banking
sector. Apart from tapping domestic markets, Indian corporates are
increasingly accessing the global markets. This has widened the
business avenues of the investment bankers by providing services
like loan syndication, advisory services and managing mandates for
offerings of ADRs, GDRs, IPOs in India and abroad, etc.
